The Fabric

Designer’s Eye felted wool is surprisingly soft and with its wonderful sculptural quality it lends itself perfectly to their collection of home textile products. Each color is carefully developed to coordinate with each other and new colors are added in parallel with the introduction of new products.
Designer’s Eye prefers to work with natural, clean, strong colors — colors that will withstand the quick changes in fashion. Many of them are not dyed, but the natural result of mixing up to eight different types of wool and therefore contains speckles of grey which makes the fabric come alive.

Quality

Designer’s Eye high standards of quality, function, and focus on good design has not gone unrecognized. The textile company, founded in 1997, is a three-time recipient of the Excellent Swedish Design Award and a winner of the Formex’s Best Textile Design Award.

Designers

A designer of both textiles and glass, Lena Bergström’s work represents a new generation of design, with clean but soft lines and strong confidence in expression. She is represented at museums around the world and is one of five designers with the renowned glass house Orrefors.

Elsie Arenlind is an artist at heart. Her work with textiles spans more than 35 years. She successfully transforms traditional materials and solutions into something new and excitingly modern, using bold colors and organic elements. Her sense of color is extraordinary and can be recognized throughout the collection.
